Norwegian Air advises it's fares are still competitive
It comes as the airline's promotional €69 one way fare from Cork to Boston sold out within hours of the route launch on Thursday
The first direct transatlantic service from Cork to Boston which will start on July 1st, and the 320 seats made available out of Cork at the low fare - available from July to February - quickly sold out.
Norwegian Air says despite the early bird fares selling quickly their next fare price is still very competitive.
More than 1500 seats were booked within the first 24 hours Leeside.
Speaking to RedFM News Conor Healy of Cork Chamber says the new route is a game changer for Cork.
