Number of people sleeping rough on Cork streets is continuing to rise

That's according to Focus Ireland who are marking 10 years of supporting homeless people or those on the brink of homelessness on Leeside
The number of homeless people in Cork has increased by 38% in the past year and it's believed this figure is likely to jump again.
Speaking to RedFM News Ger Spillane of Focus Ireland says there are not enough properties available to rent and homelessness is likely to rise as a result.
