Nurses and HSE continue to talk in effort to avert work to rule
Nurses and the HSE are back around the talks table at the WRC.
They're trying to sort out their dispute over staff recruitment and retention which has led to a threat of strike action with 30,000 members of the INMO due to work-to-rule in hospitals around the country from Tuesday.
The executive of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation will meet on Saturday to discuss any progress in the current round of talks.
SIPTU nursing and midwifery representatives are also taking part in the negotiations, and organiser Paul Bell says it's challenging for all involved:
