Nurses and Midwives say they are willing to escalate their industrial action
The call follows a nationwide protest by 37,000 INMO members, including over 1,000 in Cork yesterday in a row over pay and conditions
Talks to avert the strike broke down earlier this week after the government said it could not change current pay agreements.
INMO members will stage a further 24-hour strike next Tuesday, as their dispute with the government is no closer to a resolution.
