Nurses And Midwives To Take Nationwide Action From March 7th
Nurses and midwives are to commence nationwide action from March 7th.
It follows a rejection by the INMO, of proposals to address what they say is 'a recruitment and retention crisis' in the health service.
RedFM News recently learned that the Cork branch of INMO are constantly fielding calls from nurses in Cork who say they're struggling to cope with lack of resources and overcrowding.
SIPTU has also confirmed that their members will be supporting their INMO colleagues.
The General Secretary of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, Liam Doran, says the proposals that were put forward this week were 'too little too late'.
