Nurses and Midwives welcome retention of registration fee
The INMO has welcomed a decision by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland to restore the annual retention fee to €100. The breakthrough came late yesterday evening following talks with nursing unions on resolving the controversy over its fee increase to €150 for this year. Protests were held outside hospitals across the country including the CUH this week over the fee increase in a bid to get the board to reverse its decision. Speaking to RedFM News Patsy Doyle of the INMO says she's very proud of the nurses and midwifes. Click PLAY button above to hear.
