O'Connell Square In Shandon Set For a Revamp
The City council have announced a major revamp in the Shandon area.
The Plaza adjacent to the Firkin Crane Theatre, known as O'Connell Square is set to have an upgrade before the end of the year.
The council are placing street furniture and reinvesting in blockwork in and around the square.
The Shandon Renewal Area Association has been praised for their work in the area, and hopes are high that a suitable development will be found for the Shandon Butter exchange building in the future.
