Office Of The Attorney General Issues Scam Alert

Members of the public are being targeted by callers purporting to be from the Office of the Attorney General
A caller claiming to be an official may ring a member of the public claiming they've been a victim of identity theft, with their ID used for drug-trafficking or money laundering.
The caller may also claim there's a case against the call recipient, and a warrant out for their arrest.
The Attorney General's office wants to reassure the public and is asking them not to be alarmed, but cautioning them against sharing any personal information.
