Oncology nurses work to rule set to go ahead

Nurses in the CUH are preparing for industrial action tomorrow.
Members of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation on the Oncology /Radiotherapy ward will begin a work to rule tomorrow morning at 8am.
Nurses say the dispute centers around staffing levels on the ward, which the INMO say are inadequate and unsafe.
The staffing issue was brought to the attention of the hospital management last December, but to date nursing posts in the ward remain unfilled.
Talks took place earlier today in an effort to avert the action, but the work to rule is set to go ahead.
Speaking to RedFM news INMO representative Mary Rose Carroll says staffing levels have left nurses in a difficult situation:
