One in five female students experience unwanted sexual advances
One in five female students have experienced some form of unwanted sexual experience. That's according to a survey on sexual harassment, violence and sexual assault carried out by the Union of Students in Ireland. They research study, which was support by Cosc - the national office for the prevention of such offences- is the first of it's kind in the country. It's hoped the findings will now be used to inform a national campaign aimed at raising awareness of this issue.
