The crash involving a car and a motorcyclist happened at Willowbank, Fairhill
One person has been seriously injured in a crash in the northside of Cork city last night..
A motorcyclist was rushed to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries after he was involved in a collision with a car at Willowbank, Fairhill at around 10pm.
The upper Fairhill road is closed between Bride Valley View and Fairfield Ave this morning to allow for a technical examination of the scene
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
