Online Fundraiser For Cork Hit And Run Toddler Has Collected Over €11,000

The Zac Higgins Appeal Fund was launched on Saturday and aims to raise up to €50,000
The two and half year old was struck by a hit and run driver last Monday at Castle Meadows off Skehard road.
He was rushed to Cork University Hospital and was later transferred to Temple Street Children's Hospital, where he remains in an induced coma due to the severity of his injuries.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM, one of the founders of the online campaign Cllr Chris O'Leary says Zac's family have expressed their gratitude to the people of Cork
