Online Survey Asks Public View On Use Of Richshaws
An online survey has been launched to assess the use of rickshaws in our cities.
The National Transport Authority is carrying out the study, seeking views of both users and operators.
The pedal operated taxis aren't regulated and don't have to be insured like other forms of public transport at the moment.
The NTA's deputy CEO Hugh Cregan hopes the survey will shed some light on the use of the three-wheeled carts:
