Orange Weather Alert Issued

An orange weather alert is in operation across Cork where 70 mm of rain is expected to fall.
Drivers are being warned of dangerous conditions particularly in the Carrigaline area as a burst water main on the Upper Kilmoney Road is causing flooding in the area. Gardai say extra care is needed on that route
Forecaster with Met Éireann Liz Walsh, says the weather will clear up later but some areas of West Cork may also be hit by flooding
