Over 100 thousand visitors expected for Irish Open

The Irish Open has been described as a massive opportunity to showcase Cork this Summer.. Up to 100,000 people are set to descend on Cork for the golf event which takes place at the Fota Island Resort from the 19th to 22nd of June... Eight major champions have already been confirmed for the event and ticket sales are up on previous years The City and Councty Councils have come together to support the Irish Open and use it as a unique opportunity to showcase Cork as a must-see destination..
