Over 1,000 Cork families seek St Vincent de Paul help in the past week

1,200 calls were made to St Vincent De Paul in Cork over the past week from families in need of food and toys for Christmas. The charity says they usually see a spike in calls at this time of year - but their phone lines have never been as busy as they are this year.
