188 of these people have been waiting between 12 and 15 months
Over 2,000 people are awaiting neurosurgery at Cork University Hospital.
The Echo reports that a further 386 people are experiencing delays of between 9 and 12 months.
In total, 2,119 patients, many of whom suffer with epilepsy, are waiting months for their procedure.
