Over 20,000 people across Cork city and county will walk from dusk to dawn as part of a worldwide suicide awareness campaign

The Darkness into Light Walk now in it's ninth year is in aid of Pieta House who provide free services to people in distress or who self-harm
14 events will be held across Cork city and county including Blarney, Carrigaline, Clonakilty, Cobh, Mallow, Skibbereen and UCC and will begin at 4:15 on Saturday morning.
Speaking to RedFM News Angela Horgan of Pieta House says its a movement against the stigma surrounding mental health.
