Over 300 Homeless In Cork On Any Given Night

318 people are homeless on any given night in Cork city.
That's according to Focus Ireland who say everyone has a right to a home and they'll be raising awareness of the situation in Cork at their annual Shine A Light Night this year.
Spike Island has been chosen to host this year's event and the official launch is taking place at Kennedy Pier in Cobh this morning.
Speaking to RedFM News Dick White of Focus Ireland says it's very fitting that the event will take place in Spike Island:
