Over 40 people waiting for treatment in Cork Hospitals

Almost 270 people are waiting for a bed at hospitals across the country.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says 228 people are on trollies while a further 41 are in overflow areas of wards.
According to the latest trolley watch report - South Tipperary General Hospital is the most overcrowded with 27 people in need of a bed.
Mercy University Hospital, Cork, is next with 22 people on trolleys and overflow areas of wards while there are 20 people being treated on trolleys in Cork University Hospital
Speaking to RedFM News INMO General Secretary Liam Doran says overcrowding will continue into the winter unless the core issues of staffing and bed capacity are addressed:
