Over 42,000 passengers expected to pass through Cork Airport this weekend
The Bank Holiday Weekend is one of the busiest in the airport's calendar
It comes as the Cork Jazz Festival attracts thousands of visitors to the city each year.
The Cork region is also proving very attractive to oversees travellers from across the UK, Europe and US because of it's proximity to the wild atlantic way.
Speaking to RedFM News Cork Airport's Kevin Cullinane says the number of passengers is up 4% on the same time last year.
