Over 6,600 drivers in Cork have 6 or more penalty points on their driving licence

The figures from MissQuote.ie show that almost 50,000 drivers in Cork have been given points.
Cork men continue to accrue more points than women, gathering almost double the 6,218 penalty points handed to women in 2019.
Nationally men have been given 88% more penalty points then women between 2010 and 2019.
So far this year men have clocked up a total of 34,431 points while female drivers have collected just 16,587.
