Over a fifth of Irish people have already booked a staycation for the summer

New research shows the average adult will spend €1,375 per trip
Almost half of Irish adults are planning a staycation this summer.
BWG Foods carried out the survey - and Chief Commercial Officer John Moane describes the most popular tourist spots for holidaymakers:
"Well it's probably not going come as no surprise to hear that Kerry remains the number one destination of choice 48% of people are saying that the Cork and Galway are next on people's list or 20%, and the decision making that's driving that is local scenery and proximity to the coast and beaches."
