Over €166 Million Expenditure Budget Decided On By Cork City Council

The new figures see an increase of over €6.6 million in spending in 2019 compared to this year
Cork City Council has agreed an expenditure budget of 166.8 million euro for next year at its annual budget meeting yesterday.
The new funding will be spent on housing and homelessness services, roads maintenance and staff payroll obligations under the Public Services Stability Agreement.
An increase will also be seen in sports funding and community project funding.
