Over €46,000 Has Been Allocated To DEIS Schools In Cork City For National Tree Week

There are currently 2,500 trees dating back over 150 years on UCC campus
Science Foundation Ireland has awarded funding to UCC’s ‘Trees Explorers’ project to help engage primary school students from the North Presentation Primary School, Cork, Gaelscoil Pheig Sayers, and Gaelscoil an Teaghlaigh Naofa.
'Tree Explorers' will co-create and deliver a 3-stage programme of engagement with the 3 DEIS schools in Cork City, and will include in-school activities with project team members as well as visits by the students to the UCC Arboretum.
