Owner Of Cork And Dublin Airports: Discounted Airport Charges Could Help Kickstart Air Travel

DAA is proposing the airports offer discounts to airlines from next summer to encourage them to resume services.
Cork Airport is also proposing a separate discount scheme to drive recovery.
Passenger numbers at Cork Airport are down 79% compared to last year, according to DAA.
Just 13,000 passengers are expected to travel through the terminal this month compared to almost 120,000 in 2019.
