Parking Scheme To Encourage Shoppers Into the City

From today over 1,000 parking spaces will be free in the city to the end of November as an an early Christmas present to shoppers. The City Council has announced a Free Parking Offer in Paul Street and North Main Street car parks and at the Black Ash Park and Ride. The free parking offer will run from Monday to Thursday from 10am to noon in both Paul Street and North Main Street car parks. Late night parking will also available at Paul Street on Thursday and Fridays from 6.30 p.m. to Midnight. From this weekend the Black Ash Park and Ride will be offer free parking all day on Saturdays.
