Parkinson's patients in Cork to mount protest outside Leinster House

People suffering from Parkinson's Disease are to travel from Cork to Dublin to highlight the lack of Parkinson's Nurse specialists in Cork.
The protest is being staged outside Leinster House by the Parkinson's Association of Ireland who are seeking more funding, specialist nurses and a reduction in waiting times to see consultants
There are just five Parkinson's Nurse Specialists in the country serving 12,000 patients - however, one position is vacant, another is part time, and one is funded by the Parkinson's Association.
There are no specialists for patients in Cork with the nearest one available in Limerick.
Speaking to RedFM News, Cork man Ted Horgan who suffers from Parkinsons describes the limited services available to him.
