Parts Of Cork City Are Under Flood Threat

A status yellow rainfall warning is in operation
Up to 80 millimetres of rain is expected to fall over the next 24 hours with the weather alert in place until 6 o'clock tomorrow morning
Cork City Council is warning that high spring tides may lead to spot flooding in low lying city centre streets this evening such as South Terrace, Morrison's Quay, Fr Matthew Quay and Kyrl's Quay
High tide times of note are this evening at 6.30pm and tomorrow morning at 06:51 and again at 7:15pm Saturday evening
The Council says traffic restrictions may be in place at these locations, during these times.
