Passengers Booked On Cork-Santander Ferry Service Left Reeling By Brittany Ferries Decision To Finish Route

Passengers who were booked on the Cork-Santander service have been left reeling by Brittany Ferries decision to finish the route

The ferry company says the decision to cancel the route out of Cork and introduce a Rosslare-Bilbao service followed extensive consultation with their freight customers who wanted better road connections and reduced driving distances

All customers already booked on affected sailings from Cork will be given the option to transfer their booking to sailing between Rosslare and Bilbao/Roscoff.

An allowance will be given to cover additional transfers or alternatively, a full refund will be provided to those who choose to cancel.

The Port of Cork's Conor Mowlds is very disappointed at the loss of the service out of Cork and says the freight business was building.
