The organisation which represents over 7,000 members of the defence forces is holding it's annual conference in Little Island and has been raising issues such as pay and conditions, retention and the introduction of rent allowance for their members..
Since the end of September the Budget proposal to introduce two weeks paid paternity leave of €230 per week has come into effect
However PDForra's vice president, Haulbowline based Mark Keane told RedFM News that members of the Defence Forces are treated differently under the act
