People In Cork City Could Get Alerts On Sudden Spikes In Air Pollution By Next Winter
UCC and Met Eireann are working on an air quality forecasting system
The local council is also developing this system over the next ten months.
Green Party Councillor Oliver Moran is calling for a public information service to be part of the pilot scheme.
He'll bring a motion to Monday night's council meeting -- and says it could be a huge help to people with respiratory conditions:
