Permission Granted For New Lidl In Douglas
Supermarket giant LIDL has been granted planning permission for a new supermarket in the heart of Douglas.
The County Council gave the green light on the development which will be located in an area called Barry's Field on the Carrigaline Road.
The supermarket chain expects the new store will be worth approximately €6 million euro to the local economy,
Lidl has 150 stores in Ireland with over 4,600 employees.
