Petition Urging Health Minister To Legalise Medicinal Cannabis Has Almost 10,000 Signatures
Noreen O'Neill's son suffers from a rare disease that causes him to suffer up to 20 seizures a day
Noreen is from Kerry but lives in the city to be close to Cork University Hospital.
She says her 21 month old son Michael has been successfully treated with CBD oil since January, however he started to suffer seizures again last month prompting his mother to call for the legalisation of medicinal cannabis.
The petition has received over 9,500 signatures since it was set up last month
Speaking to RedFM News Noreen says it needs to be legalised for her son's sake.
