The Irish Pharmacy Union says 4 out of 5 pharmacies were targeted last year with staff facing attack from raiders armed with syringes, knives and guns.
IPU President Daragh Connolly says more than 80 percent of pharmacy staff have experienced 2 or more attacks in the same year:
