Pieta House Say Third Level Students Are Using Facilities Because Of Lack Of On-Campus Resources

Pieta House say some third level students in Cork are using its services because of a lack of on-campus resources.
It follows calls from Cork Institute of Technology Students' Union for increased funding for third level mental health services.
The Union revealed that their members have had to accompany a number of students to Pieta House to avail of support services there due to a lack of resources at the Institute.
The Union also say there is a huge demand for mental health services among students.
Speaking to RedFM News, Chris Von Raesfeldt from Pieta House in Cork says the support services available at some third level institutes are not enough for some students:
