Pieta House says numbers seeking help are continuing to grow each year

Pieta House says 1,200 people have already walked through their doors this year.
The suicide prevention charity says these numbers are continuing to grow by 20% each year.
Self-harm is one of the mental health issues that the organisation is trying to tackle.
Over the past ten years there's been a 10% increase in the instances of self harm according to the latest figures from the National Self-harm registry.
Speaking to RedFM News Clinical Manager of Pieta House Sylvia O'Driscoll Wong says self-harm is not often spoken about which is an obstacle to treatment:
