Pistorius says he shot girlfriend dead by mistake
Oscar Pistorius has told a court in South Africa he shot his girlfriend dead by mistake, thinking she was a robber. The Olympian and Paralympian claims he fired at a bathroom door thinking an intruder had climbed through the window. But prosecutors argue the death of Reeva Steenkamp was pre-meditated murder. The hearing has been suspended until tomorrow.
