Planned summer 2016 Cork-Menorca route cancelled
Concern has been expressed after the loss of another route due to take off from Cork airport this summer.
A Cork-Menorca route planned to take off each Saturday throughout the summer was cancelled due to a lack of demand.
The route was being operated on charter service by two travel agents, Lee Travel and Stein Travel.
A Stein Travel representative confirmed to RedFM News that the cancellation of service was due to a lack of demand.
City Jet who was providing the aircraft has moved to clarify that it had nothing to do with the cancellation of the service as it was only providing the aircraft.
