The Taoiseach made the announcement yesterday having given the go ahead for the project
Transport Minister Shane Ross announced the allocation of 20 million euro for the planning and design of the M20 in a process which is expected to take three to four years.
The overall cost of the project is estimated at more than 800 million euro which the Taoiseach confirmed will be included in the 10 year capital plan.
