The multi-million euro works are set to cater for 25 patients at Bandon Community Hospital.
Planning permission has been granted for a major new development at Bandon Community Hospital.
The multi-million euro works are set to cater for 25 patients and will include increased communal space, 21 single occupancy rooms with en suites and secure outdoor areas.
The facility currently provides long term palliative and respite care and construction works are expected to begin within the next year.
