Planning Permission Granted For A New Clinical Medical School In Cork

The new facility would be on the grounds of Cork University Hospital

The new medical training centre will be a collaboration with UCC's School of Medicine.

Currently 939 students are studying to become doctors and the new centre would provide much wanted educational and support facilities.

Cork City Council granted the permission, on condition that there would be no increase to the parking supply on the hospital campus - in the interest of traffic safety.
