Planning Permission Has Been Granted For A 26-Unit Apartment Complex In Ballinlough

That's despite a number of objections to the project in recent months

There has also been a recommendation from  An Bord Pleanála to refuse the application.

The Echo reports 26 apartments are to be built on the site of the Glenanaar pub, including 7 studio apartments, 10 1-bed apartments, and 9 2-bed apartments.

The development has been met with criticism from a number of Cork councillors, who believe the 4-storey apartment blocks would be too high, with a lack of parking facilities.
