Planning Permission Lodged For New Cork City Hotel

Planning permission has been lodged for a €25 million, 165-bed hotel off the South Mall in the city.
The site is located between the Imperial Hotel and the former Clarion Hotel on Lapps Quay.
Hotel chain Dalata has redesigned the layout of the partially built hotel to extend further at floors four and five on Beasley St, and to replace permitted basement level parking and car lift with bedrooms and business meeting rooms below ground.
If planning is granted it will become the city’s third largest hotel.
