Plans for an extension of Cork City's boundary will eventually have an impact on the housing market in the areas affected

That's according to Real Estate Alliance who says that administrative issues such as provision of services and zoning are likely to affect the market place itself

It follows the release of figures today which show a 2% rise in house prices in the city and a 4.8% rise in the county.

Speaking to RedFM News Healy Hynes of Real Estate Alliance says the affect of the boundary extension is likely to become known over the next six years.
