Plans for €160m city centre development unveiled

Plans have been unveiled for a €160 million development on Horgan's Quay in the city centre which it's hoped will rejuvenate the area. 

The six-acre waterfront site adjoins Kent Railway Station and will comprise of eight new buildings.

450 construction jobs are expected to come on stream and office space for up to 5,000 employees will be available upon completion.

A 136-bed hotel with a rooftop restaurant will be located on the north-west corner of the site, and 237 apartments across four blocks are among the plans.
