Plans in place to tackle Cork's rising heroin problem

Education has been identified as the key to tackling Cork's growing use of heroin... A coordinated response addressing the issue of drug taking is having a positive impact a special meeting of the Joint Policing Committee regarding the problem of heroin was told. It was agreed at the meeting that an Inter-Agency approach was needed and that communities needed to be educated on where help is available.
