Plans to ban cars on Patrick Street back in the spotlight

The plans are expected to be discussed by Cork City Council again.

Proposals to pedestrianise Patrick Street are back on the table for discussion at City Hall.

Last July, plans to ban private cars on the city's main street between the hours of 12.30pm and 6.30pm were put before Cork City Council.

They were rejected by 15 votes to 12.
