Plans To Ship €300 Million Worth Of Gas From Texas To Cork Under Spotlight
It's hoped a boost to the local economy, as well as a jobs boost, will be the result from plans to ship more than €300m worth of natural gas from Texas to Cork.
However concerns have also been expressed that the gas will be coming from onshore fracking operations in the U.S - a practice which was banned in Ireland in June of this year.
