Plans underway to tackle traffic gridlock at Little Island

Work is expected to get underway in September on a project aimed at tackling traffic gridlock in the area.
The works are to be carried out before Transport Infrastructure Ireland begin on a €100m upgrade of the nearby Jack Lynch Tunnel/Dunkettle interchange.
Over 7,000 people work at Little Island, with the vast majority commuting to and from work by car
These new plans include the creation of an additional traffic lane on the flyover, the introduction of another approach lane along with a number of new pedestrian crossings.
